Religious Studies

Religious Studies teaches children to understand and empathise with different religions and cultures.

In addition to learning about Christianity, the children study five main world religions: Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism, Islam, Sikhism. Children learn about the foundation of religion and different leaders, places of worships, ceremonies, festivals, and religious beliefs. Children go on educational outings to places of worship, such as the local church in the village and the Shah Jahan Mosque in Woking.

We aim for each child to leave Ripley Court with a good understanding of different religions and their values.
