School Hours & Wraparound Care

We understand that family schedules vary, so Ripley Court offers a range of wraparound care options to support parents throughout the school day. From Breakfast Club to After School Care, children are looked after in a safe, welcoming environment where they can settle into the day or relax with friends after school.

BREAKFAST CLUB (All Year Groups)

Ripley Court hosts a Breakfast Club in the Dining Hall from 7.30am each morning, where children can enjoy a wholesome breakfast before the school day begins. 

For our youngest pupils, Nursery staff are present to welcome and support Nursery children attending Breakfast Club, ensuring a familiar and reassuring handover at the start of the day.

NURSERY AND LITTLE COURT (PRE-PREP)

The school provides early morning supervision from 8.00am (at no additional cost).

The school day begins at 8.30am.

Morning Nursery and Transition sessions finish at 12.00pm, or 12.30pm if children stay for lunch.

Afternoon Nursery and Transition sessions run from 12.30pm to 3.30pm.

For families with siblings in Upper Court, we also offer Four O’Clock Club. This allows children in Little Court to remain in their classroom after the end of the school day and wait comfortably until 4.00pm, when their older siblings finish school. This provides a convenient option for parents, enabling a single collection time for the whole family.

AFTER SCHOOL CARE (Nursery and Little Court /Pre-Prep) 

After School Care is run by Après School from 3.30pm to 6.00pm in the Newte Building.

UPPER COURT (PREP)

The school provides early morning supervision from 8.00am.

The school day begins for all year groups at 8.30am.

End of the school day (Years 3–6): 4.00pm.

AFTERNOON PREP (Upper Court only)

Afternoon Prep takes place in the Dining Room from 4.00pm to 5.00pm and provides a quiet, supervised space for pupils to complete their homework.

Pupils may be collected from the Dining Room, and there is no charge for this provision.

AFTER SCHOOL CARE (UPPER COURT /PREP)

After School Care is run by Après School from 5.00pm to 6.00pm in the Newte Building.

EMERGENCY AFTER SCHOOL CARE

In unforeseen circumstances, emergency care may be available beyond 6.00pm.

AFTERCARE BOOKING AND PAYMENTS APRES SCHOOL (All Year Groups)

After School Care is organised and run independently by Après School, based in its dedicated space in the Newte Building. Children enjoy a variety of activities and are provided with a light snack, such as sandwiches and fresh fruit, before collection.
