Exceptional Facilities at Ripley Court School

Set within 19 acres of beautiful Surrey countryside, Ripley Court School offers outstanding facilities designed to inspire every child’s learning and development. Our extensive grounds include dedicated playing fields and our own Forest School, giving pupils the space and freedom to explore, play and learn outdoors.

Sports Facilities

Children benefit from a wide range of sporting opportunities. We have tennis and netball courts, grass pitches for rugby, football, hockey, and cricket, a purpose‑built cross‑country course and a large indoor sports hall. Our heated indoor swimming pool allows pupils from Nursery to Year 6 to swim all year round, with specialist swimming lessons held weekly.

Performing Arts and Music

The school’s charming little theatre, converted from an 18th‑century stable, provides the perfect setting for children to develop acting and performance skills. Our Music department includes a dedicated teaching studio, music tuition rooms, and a team of peripatetic teachers offering individual instrumental lessons. From class music and dance to drama productions, children enjoy a rich and creative performing arts curriculum.

Art and Design

Our beautiful, light‑filled art room stimulates creativity and is led by a specialist art teacher from Year 2 upwards. Children explore a variety of techniques and media, developing both skills and confidence in artistic expression.

Food Technology

The spacious food technology room features ten fully equipped mobile cooking stations, allowing children from Reception upwards to learn practical cookery skills and explore healthy eating in a fun, hands‑on way.

Library and Computing

Housed in the historic Manor House, our well‑resourced library and computer room provide  welcoming spaces for research, reading and digital learning. Alongside desktop computers, we have banks of iPads that are used across the school to enhance lessons and encourage collaborative learning. From Year 5, pupils also use the computer room for dedicated Atom Learning sessions as part of their preparation for the 11+ assessments. Every classroom is equipped with interactive smart touch screens, ensuring technology is seamlessly integrated into teaching and learning throughout the school.

Nursery and Pre‑Prep

Our bright, purpose‑built nursery offers carefully planned breakout spaces and direct access to outdoor play, including covered areas and a much‑loved mud kitchen. The adjoining Pre‑Prep (Reception to Year 2) has its own outdoor classroom complete with a maths and literacy shed, dolls’ house, perfumes and potions station, sandpit, and ample room for imaginative play. A dedicated play area with rubber‑crumb flooring, climbing frame and a range of equipment ensures safe and active breaktimes.

STEM Learning

Our new STEM classroom is accessible to all pupils from Reception to Year 6 and is designed to nurture curiosity, problem‑solving and critical thinking. With a wide range of resources, teachers can create innovative lessons that inspire a love of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

Beyond the Classroom

In addition to a full range of seasonal, cultural, sporting and creative clubs, children also benefit from access to facilities at Reed’s School, including their Indoor Cricket Centre, Future‑Tech building and hockey astro‑turfs. Breakfast club and after‑school activities further enrich the day and support busy families.
