There is something very special about watching children reach the end of their Ripley Court journey and seeing just how far they have come.
As our Class of 2026 begin their next chapter at senior school this September, we are incredibly proud not only of the outstanding results they achieved, but of the confidence, determination and maturity with which they approached this important stage of their education.

An Outstanding YearOur 30 Year 6 pupils received an impressive 71 offers from 30 senior schools, together with 22 scholarships and three awards and exhibitions across academics, sport, music and art.
Behind every one of those results is an individual child, with their own strengths, interests and ambitions. That is why our approach to senior school preparation has always been about much more than preparing children for an exam.
We want pupils to leave Ripley Court knowing how to think independently, approach a challenge with confidence and believe in what they are capable of achieving.
Preparation with the Child at its Heart
The 11+ journey can feel like a significant milestone for children and their families. Our role is to make that journey as balanced and supportive as possible.
Preparation happens gradually, through excellent teaching, encouragement and a deep understanding of each child. Pupils are challenged and stretched, but without losing sight of the importance of enjoying school, pursuing their interests and experiencing all that life at Ripley Court has to offer.
We are equally committed to helping families find the right senior school for their child. Success looks different for every pupil, and the school where one child will flourish may be very different from the right environment for another.
This year’s breadth of senior school destinations reflects exactly that.
Ready for the Next Adventure
Of course, preparing children for senior school is about far more than securing an offer.
It is about making sure that when the time comes to walk through the gates of their new school, they are ready – academically, socially and emotionally – for the opportunities and challenges ahead.
As our Class of 2026 begin at their new senior schools this September, we hope they take with them the curiosity to keep asking questions, the confidence to embrace new opportunities and the kindness and character that have shaped their years at Ripley Court.
And as one Year 6 journey ends, another begins.
This September, we welcome our Class of 2027 into their final year at Ripley Court. Over the months ahead, they too will begin their 11+ journey, supported by teachers who know them well and understand their individual strengths. There will be challenges and exciting milestones along the way, but also all the friendships, opportunities and experiences that make Year 6 such a special final year.
Our aim remains simple: to help every child approach what lies ahead with confidence, feel proud of what they achieve and ultimately move on to the senior school where they will be happy and able to flourish.
