FINANCE ADMINISTRATOR - BASED AT REED'S SCHOOL

REQUIRED FROM SEPTEMBER 2020 - FULL TIME, ALL YEAR ROUND 

Reed’s School is one of the leading Independent Day and Boarding Schools in the country providing an education for 750 pupils. The School is all-boys from 11-16 and has a co-educational Sixth Form. This year represents an exciting time for the school following the merger with Ripley Court School in 2019.

We are currently looking to appoint an experienced and organised Finance Administrator to assist with the finances for Ripley Court School, carry out bookkeeping duties at Reed’s School and its subsidiary (Reed’s School Enterprises Ltd). This will include dealing with fee related matters, supplier invoice payments, banking and cashbook postings, accruals and prepayments. 

The successful candidate will have previous experience of working within an Accounts role, have bookkeeping experience and will possess excellent written, numerical and oral communication skills.

LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT

 

1 YEAR FIXED TERM CONTRACT (to commence from September 2020)

APPROXIMATELY 20 HOURS PER WEEK, TERM TIME ONLY

Ripley Court School is a popular, independent, co-educational preparatory school for 3-11 year olds set in 19 acres of beautiful Surrey countryside including extensive playing fields and a Forest School.  The school celebrated its 125th anniversary in 2018 and in 2019 merged with Reed’s School.

We are currently looking to recruit a Learning Support Assistant to work with a student on a one-to-one basis. This will involve support with daily practical tasks and some assistance with personal care.

This role will be for one academic year on a fixed term basis (September 2020 until early July 2021), and the role-holder will be required to work for approximately 20 hours, Monday to Friday and during term time only.

The successful applicant will have experience of working with children who have attention and social communication difficulties, and will ideally be a trained ELSA or Thrive practitioner.

GROUNDSPERSON – FULL TIME, YEAR ROUND

Ripley Court School is a popular, independent, co-educational preparatory school for 3-11 year olds set in 19 acres of beautiful Surrey countryside including extensive playing fields and a Forest School. The school celebrated its 125th anniversary in 2018 and in 2019 merged with Reed’s School.

We are looking to appoint an experienced Groundsperson to join our team who are responsible for ensuring that all grounds are maintained to an excellent standard. In particular, the school sports pitches (grass) will be maintained according to playing seasons, for the use of the School and external Sports Clubs.

The Groundsperson role sits within the Bursary Team at Ripley Court School - together they provide support to ensure that the school operates effectively for all staff, pupils, parents and visitors.
