We are currently looking to recruit a Drama Professional/Head of LAMDA to assist in all aspects of the running of the Drama Department and contribute to the extra-curricular aspects of the Drama department. The role holder will mainly be based out of Reed’s School, but travel to Ripley Court will be required as part of the role. This year represents an exciting time for the school following the merger of the two schools in November 2019.
Reed’s one of the leading Independent Day and Boarding Schools in the country providing an education for around 750 pupils. The School is all-boys from 11-16 and has a co-educational Sixth Form.
Ripley Court School is a popular, independent, co-educational preparatory school for 3-11 year olds set in 19 acres of beautiful Surrey countryside including extensive playing fields and a Forest School. The school celebrated its 125th anniversary in 2018.
Drama is currently taught to all students in the senior years at Ripley Court, and in Years 7, 8 and 9 at Reed’s School. We currently use the EDUQAS specification at both GCSE and A Level.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a willingness to become involved in the School's extensive programme of events and productions.
