Head of Mathematics or Mathematics Teacher
full time role would suit either an experienced practitioner seeking a promotion or a newer teacher or NQT looking for their first role. Mathematics is a core subject at Ripley Court and we need children to both develop a love for the subject and also to perform to the best of their ability in entrance tests, particularly at 11+. Important in the role is also being able to convince parents that their children are working to their potential. Applicants should also indicate any other skills or subjects they can offer - the role will be tailored to suit the successful candidate. Head of History
This full time role would suit an experienced teacher or an NQT alike, and encompasses teaching history to the top five or six years and also overseeing the curriculum and guiding class teachers in the earlier years. We want children to enjoy and to be inspired by the subject. Candidates should also indicate any additional skills they can bring to the table, such as the ability to teach other subjects such as games or IT.
