The Green Daydream Machine
Years 6 and 7 wowed their families, friends and staff on Tuesday 26th and Wednesday 27th March with their production of ‘The Green Daydream Machine’, written by our very own Musical Director Mr Tan.
The talented pupils told the story of schoolboy Parker who was unable to concentrate in class due to him always daydreaming, so his sister Harper created a machine. The invention was meant to freeze time so Parker could snap out of his daydreams, however the machine malfunctioned and ended up taking the children back in time to different historical events…
Whilst being catapulted back in time, the school children met Cleopatra, Robert Kett and also saw the Queen’s Coronation, before being transported back to the current day where they are faced with a History test which they ace!
We would like to say a big well done to all of Year 6 and 7 who took part, and a massive thank you to Miss Thompson, Mrs Galloway and Mr Tan for writing, organising and directing such a brilliant performance!
