Little Twigs Stay & Play
In response to the rapidly changing restrictions due to the current pandemic, we continue to adapt at short notice to continue school life. One of the key temporary changes will be in relation to Little Twigs Stay and Play. Unfortunately, Little Twigs has been cancelled until further notice.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support and we look forward to welcoming you and your children back to Little Twigs as soon as we are able to.
If you would like to receive updates, kindly contact us at email@example.com
Little Twigs will take part on our school grounds in our very own Forest School facility, a fun and safe environment for children to feel independent, boost their self-esteem and enhance their knowledge of nature and the world around them.
Our sessions give children a love and understanding for nature and the environment, and they also allow children to learn new skills. The sessions are child led but we do encourage the children to step out of their comfort zone and try the activities available to them.
Our Forest School facility includes a bug hotel where children can identify different forms of wildlife, a mud kitchen in which the children use their imagination (and lots of muds!) to make a variety of different and delicious food concoctions, and also a campfire and mud mound.
In each session the children have the opportunity to participate in different creative activities, such as making bunting using flowers they have collected and pressing them onto material to create a unique design, to creating their own bubble wands using sticks and pipe cleaners.
At the end of every session, we all gather round the campfire and tuck into a snack warmed over the fire and delicious hot chocolate!
The sessions run every Monday in term time from 9.30am - 11am and is for children aged 18 months - 3 years. £3 per child, per session.
