Ripley Court Parents' Association (RCPA)

One of the truly unique features of Ripley Court is the warmth, energy, and support from the parents of our pupils. The sense of community means we have a really strong Parents Association (RCPA) that support the school in a number of ways.

Of course, underpinning our raison d'être is our commitment to fundraising so we can provide those ‘little extras’ for the children throughout their years at school.  Recently we funded an adventure playground, a woodland trail camera in Forest School, sunshade canopies for nursery as well as installing recycling bins throughout school to align to the importance of eco initiatives Ripley Court passionately believe in.  Each term we provide an update on funds raised as well as our planned purchases.

Over the course of the year, we put on regular social events, for both the children and parents to ensure the fun spirit continues to be part of school life. These include, school discos, Christmas and Summer fairs as well as curry and quiz nights, wine tasting, and we have lots more new ideas so watch this space.

One of our primary goals is to channel and represent parent’s views to the school and to ensure we can help enhance two way communication in the most effective way – both in terms of what is working well and constructive ways to improve things that are not working so well.  Your year reps are a great starting point to engage with and look out for the other ways to get involved in this school dialogue throughout your time here.

It is an exciting time for Ripley Court, but a thriving school community is reliant on everyone, so whether you are able to play a regular role, help from time to time or support by attending events, please do get involved when you can.
