The process of bringing your child to Ripley Court is designed to give you maximum exposure to the school and what we do. It happens in several simple stages as follows:
Call the school and speak to the Registrar, Susan Gray. She is hugely knowledgeable about the school, and she will talk you through the process, organise tours and contacts, and provide you with all the information you need.
The main pre-admissions event is a personalised tour at a time convenient to you with the Headmaster, Andrew Gough, and his team. You will have the opportunity to see all the school's facilities, look in on lessons, meet teachers and get a real in-depth feel for the children, the ethos and the organisation. You can ask him anything you like about the children, the other families, results, discipline senior school entries and the rest. You will gain an appreciation of how the school is run and what to expect in the future.
If you decide that Ripley Court is the place for your children, you then register them (a form + £50 fee) and book them in for a taster morning. We assess the children to see whether we think they will benefit from a Ripley Court education. If we think they will, we will offer a place. You have to sign a contract and pay a refundable deposit (£500), and the date will then be confirmed for entry.
