French Institute Trip
A successful trip to London to the French Institute
Children from years 7 and 8 travelled to South Kensington with Mr Hempsted, Mme Chevalley and Mr Greenwell on Thursday 10th December for a fun-filled French day at the Institut français. It is here, the French Government’s centre of culture, where the team works hard to promote all things French in the UK. The day started with a language workshop which dealt with the geopolitical themes that the children were going to see in the film, ‘Couleur de peau: miel’, which they were going to watch in the afternoon. It was then followed by lunch and the film showing in the Institute’s very own cinéma. The day was rounded off with a trip to the Kensington Crêperie (pictured), where the children enjoyed a traditional French crêpe and a drink! Quelle bonne journée!
