Ripley Court School held its annual French Day.
On Thursday 25th January Ripley Court celebrated all things French with their annual Journée Française.
The day kicked off in the dining room for Café Francais where the pupils and parents enjoyed a pain au chocolat or croissant along with a coffee. The children came in French fancy dress, ranging from the colours of the French flag to stripey tops and berets, to a snail outfit and a grape costume made out of purple balloons!
After a delicious breakfast, all pupils participated in the French assembly where the children performed a variety of French songs, poems and plays, which included Red Riding Hood and Beauty And The Beast.
For lunch, Chef Ian and his team made a delicious French-themed lunch which the children enjoyed - Even the frog legs!
We would like to thank Madame Chevalley and Monsieur Hempstead for the fantastic day!
