13th January 2010
We enjoyed an excellent lunch of Shepherd's Pie and fresh veggies, salads and fruit thanks to Mr Jones and his crew. Mr Brunning showed considerable talent at the beans and broccoli counter.
The roads around the school are thawing well, and the weather is considerably warmer than predicted, at a balmy 3oC. Conditions are far less treacherous, but extreme care still needs to be exercised. There may be some freeze-over tonight so do please give yourselves time tomorrow.
The back car park remains 4X4 territory only and I would recommend not using it tomorrow if possible.
It would be a good idea if children were again to come in Mufti tomorrow. Back to uniform on Monday, I hope.
All plans remain dependent on the weather, though.
A Joke? Why not:
What's an Ig? An Eskimo's home without facilities.
