

Academic work is essential for future careers – but those who grow up without knowledge of the arts grow up impoverished.
Dance is taught to all until the age of seven, and then is available as an activity thereafter.
Children also need to learn to speak on stage and in public, and so all take part in drama, assemblies and plays, performed before live audiences, from the earliest ages.
Music is a great joy in life – and musical appreciation is taught by our resident musicians.
There is the opportunity to join choirs and ensembles, and orchestras and bands if a musical instrument is taken. In fact, at Ripley Court nearly two-thirds of children opt to take one or more musical instruments.
Children are also given tuition in art – in the latter years by a specialist artist.
